Its a bit ridiculous considering the last couple of weeks,
I'm at the point where the only thing I can do is laugh like a crazy person about it, decided I just don't care right now, sick of being on best behaviour because of TTC all the time, had some cider tonight, not much just in case but enough to feel like I am rebelling with all of this.
Been doing other stuff like had about an hours walk with DP and the dog at the beach tonight, still have a life to live at the end of the day.

Sounds like a nice evening Kp06. Can relate to that crazy feeling where suddenly you just don't care any more. TCC is a tough journey and I can promiss you that one day and hopefully soon when you have a child, it just makes it all that extra bitter sweet. We had all the odds stacked against us when we had dd and I never take that for granted. I can't wait for it to be your turn

Had you had testing before your DD or did you find out afterwards the odds were stacked against you?

Before DD KP06 we did IVF for male factor then just over a year ago realised I had stage 3 Endometriosis as well that went undiagnosed. Had that removed, went back for more testing last December to find there was no longer a male factor problem and my endo was gone so given green light to try naturally and can do IUI if we find its taking to long.

CD1 today.
I'm OK, just glad its all over really, not sure where to go from here, FA was talking about trying clomid but I already know I ovulate even though he didn't quite believe me, is all it is going to do is possibly make me release more eggs / decrease the length of my cycle to give more chances? It kind of seems like a bit of a waste of money that I could be better saving for more expensive treatments later.
How long after the initial consult do they organise the next meeting?

Sorry to hear KP06
That is a tough decision to make. I understand what you mean though about using the money towards treatment later on if you need it. I don't know about the next meeting. If you are on the waiting list they will no doubt phone you when the time comes. You could always phone and chat to a nurse. The the specialist not order day 21 blood tests to see if your ovulating? I wouldn't think you need clomid if that comes back fine.

KP06 - Strange they would want to put you on clomid then. Can you remember what the levels were from blood work? regular periods I would have thought would be a good sign of ovulatin to. Yes here is to some Christmas babies!

Nah I didn't get told any of the numbers, when I go to the GP next I think they have some new online thing where you can look at all of your results whenever you want so I'll get that set up,
Yeah I don't know about the Clomid, it seems as if it's a "try this it could help" but no reason other than another "maybe", I don't want to get sucked in to that whole "maybe this will work, maybe that", my mum commented about how someone was talking about standing on your head afterwards to get gravity to help, lol all I can say is I am not going there as it will be a never ending list of maybe this maybe that.
Good luck to everyone else, hopefully someone gets some November luck!!

KP06 I definitely agree with you. I wouldn't go doing anything without proof that you need it. It seems very strange to me.

Sorry to hear about the AFs :(. Good luck for those testing soon or holding out to see if AF comes. I'm feeling really down about things. I just feel like I don't have enough symptoms and that things will end badly. I think I'm driving DH nuts. HCG from yesterday was 61 which is higher than I expected considering the faintness of the tests. Going back for another one tomorrow but it will be at 42 hrs not 48. Wanted to get in early in the hopes that I'd get results before weekend.

bubs would you only be 13dpo today? if so that level of blood from yesterday is great!! when doing ivf the clinic looked for hcg to above 50 at exactly 14dpo so your levels are great. Please don't worry. Its more normal not to get any symptoms until around the 6 week mark.
