Hubby went back to work today after a month off at home with me. Pleased to say that in spite of my nerves I survived! I think my meds kicking in has helped - I'm not feeling like a total wreck even when she has lodged loud protests over nap time in spite of being tired. In fact she is currently lodging one.

So WOHOO!! I know my confidence will grow - jesh is nerve wracking the first day home alone though!

Well done you !!! Like Lyla said, it gets easier with every day... but I too absolutely dreaded it when Roland went back to work after his month off with us as well.

I love spending the day with Lycan then at night his dad takes over, except for when it's time to put him to bed.....But i must admit some days i can't wait till 6.30 - 7pm for JK to get home..all depends on the traffic....Mostly it's when Lycan isn't feeling to well or after his jabs, otherwise im sweet. JK went back to work the week Lycan was born and my mum stayed with me for a week and then i was by myself..thats when i started having heaps of visitors...

So Well done and good on you for getting through the day now everyday will get a wee bit easier.

I wonder what I'll be like. DH is going to get 6 weeks paid leave from his work (yay for Massey lol). It will be strange having him around but then scary when he leaves!

6 weeks - wow, lucky!! Well done Paws, every day your confidence will grow... Daniel was self-employed and working from home for the first 5 months or so, and to be honest I was kinda glad when he went to work, but I definitely missed him and found it hard for a while - even after 5 months!

I hope today is going smoothly for you too. I remember when my Mum left after staying for the first week I was in tears wondering what on earth I was supposed to do on my own, and how I would know how to look after the baby.

This time I drove myself home from hospital
