Hi Ladies. I got AF? 4 days early and it only lasted a day and a half nearly 2 days. My cycle is a 31 day and 4 days of AF. As it has been this for the last year do i need to worry. Has this happened to you? Should I test? |

Hi MissK My cycle used to be 4-5 days and is now only 2 days. Usually 1 day heavy or medium, then 1 more day of medium or light followed by very light spotting. That's it. My cycle also used to be around 32 days but is now shorter usually 28-30 days. So it does change, I've heard a few other ladies in here say the same thing too.
Of course it could be something entirely different too. There's is no harm in doing a test if you suspect you are UTD. Was the AF you got normal as in heavy/medium/light/spotting? |

I can't 100%they remember when they became lighter and shorter, it's been long enough to forget so I think it was before I had DD in 2013.
Yeah I'm pretty sure they changed before being pregnant. I think it's an age thing as I often hear ladies in their 30's saying the same thing.
If you're unsure what's going on you could always see your GP    |

Hi missk. Mine used to be 28days for months on end then just when I thought I could time my watch to it boom in came a 31 day cycle or 26 day just to keep it interesting. Luckily for me I have a very strong sign of ov (pain) so usually know when it's going to be a whacky one. Are you tracking ov and know your luteal phase length? If you're suspecting you're utd then definitely test at least then you know either way.
