Friends who went through hamilton/tauranga were told 18mths I think, and then it ended up being a couple of months earlier if I remember correctly. Mine was brought forward a couple of months too from what I'd been told the wait was. All depends what happens to the people ahead of you.
Horrible having to wait so long tho, so much of this journey ends up about waiting :(

We are with Christchurch FA and were told around 12 months, which was pretty much spot on in the end.
Speaking of waiting, we got a good hcg rise last week and are now waiting on our first scan in a couple of weeks time. I never expected this bit to be so nerve wracking! Merrily I hope your scan went well?

Oh Dolly, that is fantastic news!! Merrily hope you have good news too. No real news from me, just waiting for Af then we will give FET a go. Just had some spotting, which is light red so not sure if that's from d and c as that spotting at been brown or whether this is af coming early. Not sure if that happens though as d and c was only ten days ago. Will just have to wait and see as on day one I have to start taking Progynova.

Craftea, I got tested for a whole bunch of stuff due to recurrent m/c but not sure what, they took 15 tubes of blood. Will see whether I have a copy of form at home. We haven't got results yet.

Right results back baseline is good? But hcg is 47 so another blood test next Wednesday. Don't expect to get another af but hcg level needs to be less than 5 before I can start on pills.

I think the cover is a good idea if you can afford it, it will take some stress away. Also good if you Palm on having IVF again. We were told we wouldn't qualify because of our age so never tried to get it. Wondering now if we should of pushed it. But not sure I could cope with three rounds! Mind I might say something different if we have no luck with our Fets. Am getting bored waiting to start again. Really want to hear everyone's success stories!!

We could only afford it because of some very generous family members. Certainly hadn't planned on having this many rounds of IVF but having come this far with no success it seemed like the best next step. I don't think I could cope with another 3 rounds like my first round - so hopefully by prepaying for 3 cycles we'll have called the fertility gods bluff and we'll get lucky first cycle!!
I can't remember - did someone recently say they had had or were about to have the 'scratching' done? if so what was it like - pain wise etc?

Craftea we have had 2 scratchings done in the past, the second time was pretty painful and bought tears to my eyes! First time I don't remember being that bad... In saying that it's all over and done with pretty quickly

Is it a bit like transfer - in the sense of having a small catheter poked inside you, and having a full bladder etc? Do you bleed much after?

I thought more like a smear, which I suppose is a bit like transfer... Had the speculum in, then they have a small plastic tube thing that they roughly moved back and forth against the inside. Didn't need a full bladder. Had a small amount of spotting and cramping for a few hours, not too bad though 😊

Was waiting for blood test result today just to see if hgc levels are down. Get text from at 4.26pm asking if I did test as they don't have any results for me. Good one you close at 4:30! I text back straight away telling them test was done at 8am that morning. Am glad I just wanting to know if result going down rather than do I inject now or not! Hopefully hear tomorrow. Have been on other forum and its pleasing to see so many peoples egg collections are going well!! Can't wait to hear that they get a bfp and a good 7/8 week scan. Got my fingers and toes crossed for you all!

Bloods back hcg level now 9. So another blood test next week. This nurse said I have to wait for another af to come but hopes it will occur in the next two weeks. So getting slightly closer to trying again. 😇
