I wouldn't panic about it...I can't begin to tell you what I ate that I shouldn't have.
So long as you are fine (no food poisoning) then your baby will be fine too.

oh Paws thats a releif to hear!! i just thought that you can get alsorts of bugs off chicken and i never even thought about it before i scoffed it!!!!! no doubt il still have an unsettled sleep but your words are very comforting so if i start throwing up (with food poisoning) then the crying will start!!

I totally understand! It was my doctor who said to me that if I was fine then baby was fine...it was a relief to me too after eating soft serve ice-cream (and lots of it!!!!) and I'm sure there was other stuff.

I was such a freak when i was pregnant with my son!! but my memory is so poor now!!! the other day i took my antinatal vitamins and folic acid tablets twice!!!!! before i had remembered that i had taken them that morning already!!!!! and i shouldnt have forgotten it either because it was the first time i gagged hardcore while taking the huge horse tablet!!!!!!
I wouldnt be worrying so much if it was something like coffee or something but chicken tends to harbour buggs all the time especially if it is not heated to pipping hot!!! so yeah i hope im fine!!! i already do enough undie checks and freaking out over tiny cramps!! as it is!!

You'll probably be okay considering you cooked the chicken, it was cold (ie not room temp), and it wasn't all that old.
Keep cooking that little bub, s/he'll be okay

I second Paws, I think you'll be just fine (and bubs) - I too can't begin to list the things I ate that were probably a bit "risky"

Hey Baysmum *if* chicken was to cause anything it would only be an infection, nothing major - as far as I know. It's so hard having a pregnancy after m/c but I'm sure you'll be okay.

Amber...I think because you are already stressing about the tiny cramps and blood...you are upsetting yourself with small things!!
Since you only cooked the chicken last night it should be fine (I agree never eat it from the shop)....just relax.......you and Bub will be fine!!

Gosh, the things I ate that I shouldn't have!!! Ham and coleslaw from the deli, cold chicken, um.... mussels.... the list goes on......
Just make sure the food you eat is fresh, and you'll be fine. And if you've cooked it, then you know it's ok

I ate a supermarket hot chicken as soon as we got it home but it was not longer hot and i felt fine i was worried cos we needed somthing for tea and i didnt want takeaways but chicken samis so did it and it was ok wouldnt make a habbit of it and would say if you have cooked the chicken yourself (from frozen cos that will kill a lot of the bugs in there) you should be fine to eat it the next day in a sami just make sure its cold not room temp
Stressfull stuff this baby thing but agree totaly its great to have all you lovely ladies to talk to your so reassuring and freindly
