Check out the baby sunscreen. You can get special sunscreen just for babies and that will have the SPF on it. I guess it would be at the chemist.

drs recommend babies stay out of the sun till at least 6mths old and not have sunscreen on their skin... prob better off just putting him in clothes and in the shade.

Ditto to what gsmum said, I'm not prepared to risk Erin getting sunburned while she is still so little, so we have just kept her really covered up or in the shade.

I keep Benjy out of the sun but also use a baby sunscreen on him.
If its specifically designed for baby skin and you test it on a little patch of skin first for a reaction he will be fine using it.
The one I use is a no-ad baby faces one from the pharmacy. Its SPF 30.

We use the Nivea childrens sunscreen on Andrew. Andrew had it on him at 3 months (under dr's advice) when we took him to Brisbane.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
