My teeth have been aching non-stop since yesterday afternoon and on and off for a few days. I had a lot of trouble sleeping last night because of it. I took some panadol and it dulled the pain for about 20 minutes, then it came back!

I've tried brushing them, and I know I've been getting a lot of calcium because I crave lots of milk.

Is anyone else suffering from teeth problems? It feels like they are being drilled from the inside out. :(

How are your sinuses? I have had really congested and painful sinuses throughout my pregnancy with referred pain in my teeth for most of that. Dentist said my teeth were fine, but the pain was probably from inflamed sinuses. I am taking homeopathic remedies for my sinuses and hayfever and the tooth pain has resolved with the improvement in my nose.

Oooo, I'd never thought about it being sinuses. I've never had hayfever in my life, and my nose seems fine but maybe being pregnant has affected my sinuses and I'm just feeling it in my teeth.

Thanks

i've had heaps of problems with my teeth pre- pregnancy, and during pregnancy have had a few issues with my gums, they have bleed a bit, my dentist told me its not uncommon for women to have a few probs with teeth and gums during your pregnancy, all to do with Hormones apparently.
In my experience though if your teeth are aching you should go see your Dentist, tooth ache is NOT fun and best to deal with it ASAP in case it gets any worse.
Hope it gets better for you

I had a gum infection early on - and tried to ignore it for a while...until i collapsed in tears from the pain one weekend.
Dentist told me it is very common in pregnancy and i ended up having two fillings, and the gum scraped out. I was then on antibiotics which I sooooo did not want to take but which cleared it up...also a heavy mouthwash...
Go get it checked out...if it is a flared up gum it can cause other problems...and i think mine came from a tiny hole that wouldnt have caused problems normally!
Am getting full check up before i ever get pg again as the stress in pg of effects on bubs is sooo not worth it! They did reassure me the xrays etc are not harmful and they took so many precautions they were so good!!

Yep, sorry, following my blurb about referred sinus pain, I should have said see a dentist and check it out too, as my situation will be completely different.
Hope it eases soon as tooth pain is miserable

I have been having tooth ache i ate an eskimo (yes an eskimo lollie a little bit of the sugar had not fluffed properly if thats the right way to put it) and it chipped half my tooth off this was about 1 1/2 years ago and it wasnt sore so i kinda forgot about it and ever since i have been pregnant it has really hurt and now the tooth above also hurts but no one is going near my tooth with out an injection and so im going to wait till i have had bubs slightly different situation but i agree i think its the hormones and the soft tissue thing again as well as all the incresed blood in the body
