Did you change your bubs routines, if so what did you do and how did it go?

I am changing Rhiannons routine today...our routine went like this

7am bottle
7.30 solids
11am bottle
12pm solids
3pm bottle
4.30 solids
6.30 bottle

the thing is that she was only drinking about 130mls per bottle so we are going to try the following routine

7am solids
8am bottle
12pm solids
1pm bottle
4.30 solids
6.30 bottle.

i will keep u up todate on how it goes...wish me luck

Luck! Maybe she wasn't extremely hungry for her bottle because she was still sustained from the solids?

We were feeding Ashlee 3hrly 200ml bottles (5 in a day - 7am, 10, 1pm, 4, 7) until the Plunket nurse said we could probably drop one and go 4hrly with a meal of solids in there too. I panicked about dropping a bottle because I wasn't sure how she'd take it! But now we're on 7am, 11, 3pm, 7 with a small amount of solids after her 11am and 3pm feeds and I don't think she even noticed the missing bottle (after day 2. The first day was a bit hard!).

I think you'll be fine with just working the order around a little bit.

Rhiannon is only drinking about 450-500mls a day which is why i was thinking of dropping a bottle...its probably not a good day to start considering she is full of hayfever...and only drank 100mls of formula and that was 14hrs after her last bottle...but she ate a piece of toast and a tin of fruit salad
