Topic: Most boring new years eve EVER     Posted: 31 December 2006 at 9:30pm |

TV is decidedly average. I'd have gone and got a DVD but the weather was so horrible I couldn't be bothered dragging her to the car to drive 50 metres down the road (or walk that 50 metres in the rain ) to get one. Hannah went to sleep without a fight, so I didn't even have that to keep me occupied. I've pushed the refresh button on 3 forums about 5 million times. Everyone seems to have lives.
So yeah, it's looking like I might go to bed. Not even because I am tired but because I am bored to tears.
Please excuse the depressing post... like I said, refreshed a million times... I'm trying to justify staying out of bed as long as possible!

   I'm here.

I put money on my phone so I could abuse all my friends.
C4 is awfully fuzzy on our TV (damn hill) but I might give it a go anyway... thanks

So where were you ladies about 2-3 nights ago when I was bored? Don't you just hate the refresh thing and nothing refreshes lol
You still probably had a better night than mine tho... I went to bed about 8pm and it took a full hour to find a comfy position for sleeping AND BHs before I finally settled for sleep. Boy it's getting really tricky lately! Then this morning our girls both woke up at 5.58am (yay I didn't stay up!), one of them was too grizzling and promptly put back to bed; the other one had a bowel movement and came into our bedroom with a long "wipe", bending over right in front of drowzy DH!

happy new year ladies! Mine was equally boring. Got into bed at 730 and watched the Bon Jovi special on C4 and some of the titanic then went to sleep before midnight. I actually always find NYE to be a let down, only good one being where I met dh.

Hope you all had good ones, and those that can have a few drinks are not too hungover

I hear ya all. My girls stayed up watching music channel, (they are 6yr and 11yrs) I was sooooo bored and tv was just nasty that I went to bed. Alize was asleep early and since I knew I would have to get up to him I just went to sleep. My gals came and wished my happy new year at 12am so got up put them to bed and went back to sleep.

You should have text me Nikki, I was bored rigid, went to bed at 10pm, couldn't even muster up enough energy to turn on the 'puter. Rod was at party and he was so bored and cold, he was home at 12.15am! a world record!

I'd have texted you but I was on my role of abusing my party-going friends and didn't think you deserved it as I expected you to be just as sad as myself!

No worries, I have been in family related la la land, going nuts. The last freeloader left today (he couldn't leave till his payday..) YAY! I should have edited my post to mention the reason why I didn't turn on my 'puter on NYE, I still can't cope with the sadness that is my life of a "rock and roller" that I actually go on the net in chat rooms on a SATURDAY night, I just couldn't do that to my self on NYE, at least while I still have some shards of dignity left (of my former life as a hard rock n roller..)
