Remembering I had 2 dates, 1st of feb and 7th of feb. Jake was 5 days early (well he came exactly when I knew he would, I knew it would be the 5th of june..) they are taking bets...
And my stepson is taking bets as well, he tricked me into telling him the sex, and he hasn't told anyone, but is taking wagers... I might collar him for 50% profits..

LOL Annie, and you'll probably end up like me - after spending the last 10 weeks of my pregnancy checking my knickers I never got anything more than a tiny, measly show, and had to have my waters broken for me
Sending that bubs of yours some eviction vibes!

I'm so hoping to have this one out this week. So I can join the club of checking as I am every time I go as well. Even when I have a visitor at the toilet door he likes to check my knickers as well.

ahhhh, I'm good at secret keeping! We found out a week before Dad died, the hospice organised a "mercy" scan for us, so we could tell Dad the sex and the name we had chosen for his new grandbaby before he died. They would have even taken the scanner over to the hospice, but Dad wasn't really "with it" the day I had it done, and didn't even like touching my tummy (very old fashioned), so I didn't think he would really like it anyhow. Getting an "extra" scan here is like getting an audience with the Pope, as we have one radiologist only, and ones that come from CHCH 2 or 3 days a week, so it has to be DIRE circumstances, even if you offer to pay. I even rung the private clinic, offering to pay them ANYHTING they wanted to find out when we knew he wouldn't make xmas and I didn't think I could get one at the hospital, but they don't do obstetric ultrasounds anymore, no matter how much money you throw at them!

jacobsmama - we found out at 20 wk scan that we were having a BOY but didn't tell anyone, not even our two older kids. I was amazed how we managed to keep it a secret as well.
So no show yet?

We were going to find out at 20w, but baby wouldn't co operate, then there was a fire, so we got rushed out befor the end of the scan. Hence all the drama of trying to get another on compassionate grounds. We were just going to tell people that we didn't know anyhow, but I am a terrible liar, so was worried I would get caught out some where along the way. I haven't even told my midwife, though, although she can probably guess anyhow. no record of that scan was sent to her, as she was asking what the radiographer said about size etc, but the scan was purely a find out sex one, took about 5 mins, if that at the end of his day.
No, no show yet, feels like a stay of execution... To be honest, I'm quite happy at the moment, just trucking along..Still a member (for the last time, a little sad) of the exclusive preggy ladies club!

ooooh! Still no sign here, but like I said, I'm feeling quite good at the mo, just tired. Having said that, i have an appt to see they ob gyn tomorrow, so that might change my mind... Am going to see about a tubal ligation and getting my wrecked pelvic floor fixed up. Was meant to be seeing about having a c section because of all the damage to my pelvic floor, but it has taken soooooooooo long to get in to see her, I think it is a bit late now! I only got in tomorrow because of a cancellation.

I would be happy for him to come next week now. Less of a chance of him needing to go to neonates.
My friend had her pelvic floor all fixed last year - best things she ever had done she told me. She had a horrible birth with her first (MW told her to puch was only 8cm go figure and didn't work out her baby was posterier until she started to come out) and got ripped to pieces. After her second she got all fixed up.

Rod dosent seem to think so, he is sitting here right now, asking me for the 3rd time in half an hour if there are any twinges or anything! lol! Hopefully, it will come soon, but I'm quite happy, and so's baby and so is my midwife, so we'll see. Having said that, my pelvis is very sore across the back. Ah well, it'll happen!
