Hello ladies, can anyone out their recommend a good music/dancing/singing dvd for my 9mth old so I can get a 20 minutes break to hang out the washing!,

He absolutely loves music and dances on his bum but hates when they start "talking" and fast looses interest, so I need a dvd which is singing and dancing people only...

Love to Sing. You can get the dvds at the warehouse for about $10 and you can also get it on video and CD. My kids love it and Kobe still watches them and he is almost 3 but he loves learning the actions now. They have songs like hokey tokey, lion hunt, etc...You can get quite a few different ones, just warn you they will drive you crazy and get stuck in your head!

Love to sing is great! We have 3 different ones and they drive me nuts but hannah loves them. The only one of ours with talking is the zoo one with "interesting facts about zoo animals" in between each song, but I think it has the best songs.

When Hannah was a bit younger she would sit for half an hour mesmerised by Baby Einstein (esp the neighbourhood animals one).

baby einstein are great. we have the animals of the world, on the farm, on the go, baby mozart (not too keen on that one though) and both kids will still sit mesmirised throughout.
My mother became very sick and we had to call an ambulance. Of course Jake was excited by the whole procedure - put on a baby einstein and he didn't even notice after that. just sat and yelled "giraffe" "elephant" intermittently. I used them all the time for a bit of peace and quiet. Besides that we also have "the wiggles - Top of the Tots" which has minimal talking and maximum singing.
