I'm just curious... what nickname/s do you and/or your partner have for your children, and when did you start calling them it?

Kiya: I call her "Bubble", and have since she was a couple of days old. Nat calls her "Missy-Bee". He started calling her "Missy" about the time we got engaged, so when Kiya was 2.5yo, and its developed into "Missy-Bee" in the last six months.

Josiah: I sometimes call him "Little Lion", and Nat calls him "JP" (Josiah Phillip). Both nicknames have been around from when he was a couple of weeks old.

Xavier: I call him "Grubblet", and have since he was a month old. Nat doesn't really have a nickname for him yet. We thought about "Xav" (zave) but it doesn't really work as we chose to prononce his name Ex-sav-ee-er

Never fear... my friends decided that Hannah needed a nickname that she hated, to see her through the rest of her life, and came up with "Red Rat" so that's what they now call her. Just be glad you escape that.

LMAO!!!!! Poor Hannah!

Hmmm lets see.... When I was pregnant "it" was called "The Kicker" as we didn't know what flavour she was and she was VERY active!
Now she's know as Bubs, Bubba, Bubba-licious, Bubbi, Blondini (most popular), Laa-Laa (dunno where that came from?!?!), Kitty Kat Caitlin (I gave her that one pretty early on and blame the hormones ), Princess (second most popular (My Dad always call me and my sis this)), and when she's been "naughty" it's always CAITLIN LILLY!!! hehe Which isn't that often.

he he, in that case, Ayja gets AYJA NICOLE!!! very often... lol.

Paris used to be called "poppy" - by my older sister which i really hated that as a nickname (don't ask me why..) and told her to STOP! I tend to call her "fluffy kitten", hairy mclary or muffin mclay - yes we do read a heck of a lot of lynley dod books! but she does look pretty fluffy and hairy usually cos her hair is so unruly. but mainly i just call her paris. Mike calls her "princess".

Ayja, I call "Ay-ja baby", always have since we named her long before i had her, that's most of the time or "ay-ja bear", then there's monkey, and "what-the-heck-are-you..don't you dare..noooo what are you doing?" anyone would think that's her name as i have to say it so often! lol. Mike calls her Angel.. I think that is a little ironic..(he he, or demonic)

Daniel has been called Moo since he was a few weeks old. I have no idea why and kinda pity him for it. Can't seem to shake it and now most of the family call him that. Have a sneaking suspision it came from being called mister moo but that won't make it any easier to bear at 21 me thinks. Whats worse is his grandmother calls him daniel spaniel.... thank god she in another country.

Bay has been 'MONKEY' right from the start because hes cheeky and has big ears! hehe Dh even got a monkey tattoo on his arm with big blue eyes because Bay is his little monkey man with big blue eyes most of the family call him monkey too. We also call him 'SON' or 'SON SON' yup very common but that just stuck. We also call him 'BUBBA', it kind of ultinates depending on the need to call his name eg - SON is a general one but the only one we use when he gets in trouble, Bubba when hes being a good boy and monkey is just a general one.
We never give him the whole name thing when hes being naughty because wed forget about what we were growling him about by the end of his name!!! 'BAILEY WAYNE DUNCAN E******' just too much of a mouthful! lol

I call Nyah "Ny-Ny" or Madam; hubbie calls her little princess and Conor gets called Bub or son; which has stopped since he's now 11 and doesn't answer to them much anymore.

Hey CaraMel, is that 'Ella-G', as in Ella Grace?!?  Is there a third Ella Grace out there??  Holy Molowly!  Well, it is a lovely name

Our girl used to hear "chicken" from me all the time (due to her reddish hair that always stands straight up at the back!).  More recently, I can't stop calling her "angel Grace" or sometimes "sweet-pea".  Her daddy will nearly always refer to her as "darling girl"... I used to wonder where that came from and thought what a lovely name it was, coming from her Dad, and then I saw a video of me with her when she was about an hour old, and he says she's "so cute!" and I corrected him and said she's our darling girl - weird!

Isla was known by everyone as Peanut until she was born , and we also called her NuNu which has stuck.

We mainly call her Princess, which turns into Princess S*** Balls when shes being a poo!
