Random question, but does anyone elses rear-facing bub grab onto the anchor strap and try to pull their head up to suck on it? I have no idea which one of my babies was at it this morning (I suspect Mercedes) but I spied one of them in my rear view mirror desperately going for it!

I don't know if she does it to the anchor strap as much, but Erin LOVES the strap that tightens the carseat restraint around the buckles... almost prefers it to Mr Banana (her car toy) !

Briona used to suck on the strap of the baby front pack, it was soon before we bought her a dummy  so she was about 2 months old.

It just looked hilarious (and a wee bit unsafe  ], this little head straining to sit up enough to get it into her mouth. She wasn't successful tho, coz the strap was pulled too tight and her neck is too short!

LOL Emma Rose tries to eat the shoulder harness and the strap that tightens the shoulder harness (which is down in the front by her feet) too. She also likes to eat the straps on her pram, and has been known to go after my bra straps as well. She'll even reach down into my shirt to get at my singlet straps if I'm wearing one underneath. I finally cut off a couple of short strap pieces from inside one of my suitcases and let her play with that!
Mercedes must have looked like a tortoise trying to get out of its shell! So cute!!!

LOL sooo funny you should say that coz when they were tiny and I used to put them on the mat on their tummies Maya used to call them the "Racing Turtles"

charli looks like a turtle all the time...she's forever trying to sit up and that's what she looks like. she also favours the seat strap to try and suck on

Yep! Olivia does that as well, she also will grab each strap with one hand on each side and falls asleep like that and it just looks so darned funny!
