Well Kahtrell is 3 months old, and over the past month or so his left ankle has been very clicky. The plunket nurse said that it should right itself, but she has sent a note on to the GP about it, as he may need physio for it. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I've felt his ankle and its kind of feels like it pops out. It doesn't seem to bother him in any way, and he stil straightens his foot out.

My knee has done this since birth, doesn't bother me unless I try and do too much (gym kinda stuff) as it's a bit weaker than it should be

My ankle also did this since I can remember, it only stopped after a long stint at physio for an ankle sprain years ago though still does it at times (used to try sneaking into the house before physio and my ankle would click every step to the bedroom lol!), It was never sore though and didn't bother me at all.

Thanks everyone. The plunket nurse said that its quite common in long babies as when they're in utero their feet get cramped into a certain position and is stuck like that sometimes...and he was a long baby. I'm sure it also has to do with the bones still growing..and the foot being made mostly of cartilage type bones at the mo. I too have clicky knees...only when Im bending lolz. Thanks again ladies, I'm sure all will be fine
