Definitely!! Don't they say that you never stop worrying once you've gotten pregnant, cause then you've got the baby to worry about too!
I'm worried now as at 20 weeks I still haven't felt any movement but everyone else due the same month as me has
I have a scan on Tuesday so hopefully that will ease my mind.
Try not to worry, I know it's easy said than done sometimes!!

definately - welcome to the world of motherhood, no matter if you are pregnant, 1st 2nd 3rd time, or have kids all grown up, never again will you not worry about something. lol.
Sparkle, took me ages to feel movement with paris, took evenlonger with ayja and was worried as people said i should feel it earlier but placenta was in the front so cushioned it.
Anyway. It is normal to worry and feel anxious, it's all new, and even if it isn't.. it's a bit scary. Having now worked in a neonatal unit, i have seen lots of things that can, and do, go wrong everyday, not just prems but sick sick babies.. and it scared the heck out of me, sometimes i think it's nice to be naive.
I worry now, that i won't cope with 3, and wonder if this baby is ok. I just want to see it and hear that heart beat and make sure it's all ok.

Yep it sure is normal. And it's normal to be impatient too lol
Sparkle it may be that you have an anterior placenta... basically that means that your placenta sits where your belly button is instead of "on top" of the baby. It's not a problem but it "dulls" the baby's movements and you don't feel them as much... that's what I had with Krystiana.

Very very normal to feel anxious. I dont think that will change much when we go for number to as I think I will always be worried something could go wrong, but we will have to see.

I was the queen of anxious at that stage!!! Only calming down now as I had my 20 week scan last week....even though I could feel movement I was still soooooo worried that I was imagining it but thankfully it was all normal...trying not to worry for a few weeks but I'm sure I will anyway.
Sparkle I was only feeling little bits and my placenta was in front and to the right so i only feel things on my left. I still wonder if it is gas from time to time but its happening a lot more so I think it is bubs....Cant wait to hear about your scan.

I try not to take pain killers for back pain. You can only take a limited amount of panadol and I'm not using that until I really have to. Get a wheatie bag. Sounds silly but it does help

I agree with the panic attacks - I get them every now and then - and they just come out of nowhere! SO it is normal (from talking with others).
Just need to learn to relax, as being stressed dosen't help you or the bubs - ohh and a nice warm bath always helps

MeganGrace, everytime I read one of your topics I can so relate to it! Must just be "first pregnancy worries" that we all get! Always, makes me think, gosh thats exactly how I am feeling, or man I worry about that too! So don't worry I think we are all in the same boat, and its reassuring when everyone else feels the same too!

My doc advised that it was fairly safe any time after 8 weeks, so we told everyone then! I told my boss on Friday as I had my annual review and I felt bad waiting another two or so weeks to tell him just so I was 12 weeks! He was a bit gutted that he is loosing me, but he is really happy for us too!

Yay Peachy for getting over 100!
And I have no comment on pregnancy anxiety - I was a card carrying member of the CUC club (closet undie checkers) until they day I gave birth, and must guiltily confess to a) making a few spots of blood at 9 weeks into a snowstorm so I could get an earlier scan and b) hiring a doppler so I could check on the babies whenever I felt anxious.
No comment whatsoever...
