I wear two solid gold bangles on one of my arms. I never take these off, just play with them. I noticed today when I was playing with them that they are getting much tighter to push on and off.

My query is, when your'e in hospital, labour etc, are you allowed to wear jewellery? And what about if you had to have a CS?

Just wondering if I should yank them off now or not?

I'll be sad though, haven't been able to wear my e-ring or wedding ring for months now, my jewellery is slowing depleating!!!

I wore my watch the whole time - I never take it off - and no one said anything. I did not have cs though so don't know about that.

Might pay to take it off now then, rather than risk having to have it cut off! That was behind my taking off of my rings a while back - just in case!

They can get uncomfy if they get too tight but if you have room on your arm but just not easy to get them off your hand, that's still enough room IMO.

In the c/s booklet I have from the hospital, preparing for an elective c/s, it says to please remove rings but if they can't be removed they can be taped over before the surgery. I expect the same would be for bangles.

I'm a gold jewellery chicky babe as well, and feel nakie without it. I wore mine, but they "taped" my bangles to my arm to stop them getting inthe way, I tool my bracelets and watch off as they were annoying me, but couldn't bear to part with the bangles. Also, wore my rings as well. Personal choice I guess.
