Every few days or so. Depends on how much mess my DP makes all over the bathroom floor and how much grease and dust and man things he puts on them.

lol I realised that after I said it. It does sound gross. I meant the things he collects on himself at work like grease, dirt, dust, metal shards, alsorts. So I wash those ones after every use. The other ones usually dry quickly in my bathroom as it gets sunny in there.
Heh, man things..

Our big towels I use twice usually at night and then the next morning, others just the once.

I change our towels after 1 or 2 uses. My DH thinks I'm crazy to change them that often but I hate the smell of damp towels (especially if they get left on the bed, but he's getting better!)

Ok so maybe I need to be doing ours more often....I change them once a week. I am a lady and my towels never get dirty....LOL I struggle to get DP to shower every day (ARGH ) so his never get dirty enough every day.
My beautician changes her towels after every use....and that is twice a day....imagine her washing!

I change mine every 2 or 3 showers. But DH is lazy and won't change his for a week. It's usually when the smell of damp towel annoys me that I just throw it in the washing machine to make him have a clean one lol

When I first met DH he used a new towel every day, obviously he did NOT do the washing at home, his Mum did everything for all 4 of her children!
When we moved in together I advised him that if he was going to use a new towel every day, he would be doing all the washing, he soon got used to the fact that a towel can last 3 or 4 days without having to be changed. When you actually hang them up after use and not leave them on the floor to get manky they do dry and they are still clean, after all you have just had a shower for goodness sake!!
So, we change them every 3 or 4 days, or if they get gross, we change them more often!

Yeah we change ours every 4 days to a week. The best thing we installed last winter was a heated towel rail - means that towels last heaps longer, they dry up quick and don't get damp smell.

I change mine every week if i remember to hang it on the heated towel rail. DF tries to tell me he changes his weekly too but if I dont wash it it will be there for weeks! They usually get washed as soon as he starts using mine!!!

Dh changes his every 2nd day and I rely on the sniff test for mine, usually after 3 showers, and my hair towel once a week (I only wash my hair every 2nd day anyhow) Te childrens towels get changed once a week, they get hung up over the fire rail after night bath, so they dry out nicely. DSS (GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ) uses 2 yes 2 towels for his twice daily showers, and point blank refuses to reuse, so when he is here, I have 4 towels a day from him. (so 12 towels after a weekend) His mother is his slave, but I make him fold them all becasue I get sick of it! I do 2 towel loads a week for us if i'm unlucky but when he is here it more than doubles!

I use my towel twice, kids usually 3 times as they hardly really dry themselves with it (they run around the house & airdry). DH uses a fresh towel every shower! Frustrates me so bad as there are towels for africa some days! My washing is usually just towels & more towels. He just leaves them on the floor, never hangs it up to dry & reuse. I ask him to use them twice but he never does .

everyday - because in our house the only one who hangs up[ the towels is me, and consequently, MY towels stay good for a while and hubby's get stinky cause thewy are left on the floor. jake insists on powdering himself and Taine on a towel which when it's wet goes all gluggy. handtowel gets changed every 4-5 days though, depending on how manky it is, and how nice the weather is outside (for drying)

I only change them once a week, heated towel rail is great, so maybe even though I am using more electricity, I am actually doing less washing!
