Or should that read Monica bump? During work today I headed out to grab a smooothie, and somehow managed to put my foot into a hole where a brick should have been, and ended up landing on my knees. Both are grazed a little bit, and I have a bruise on one leg as well. I didn't land on my tum, and I've tried to contact my midwife (with no luck) but should I get checked out by a GP/DR? I'm 18 and a bit weeks so thought that I would be out of the 'danger danger' zone, but I don't know.

Thanks

I have been advised that if I was to have a fall that I should seek medical advice, but I guess it depends if you fell hard or not??

I hope you are o.k, sounds nasty about the grazed knees, they sting!

Sorry my post wasn't very helpful was it. Maybe you could try a healthline and just query it with them???

I think you should be ok cos you didnt fall on your tummy...but if your worried then get checked out.
My mum fell down the stairs when she was heavily pregnant with one of my three brothers! And he is totally fine(as totally fine as a 16 yr old can be hehe)

I fell down some stairs quite heavily when I was 16 weeks pregnant with Benjy. I landed on my hip/tummy and was freaking out that I'd hurt him, so I got my midwife to come and check heartbeat etc. All was fine I'd recommend a checkup if you're worried, if only for peace of mind.
Hope your poor knees heal up soon!

when i was very pregnant and was having a nana nap woke up to the phone ringing ran down the hallway and belly flopped on my tummy got massive carpet burn on my arms and legs. Freaked out rang my midwife and she said as long as im not getting cramping etc id be ok. Was due for a check like the next day or something anyway. ANd cause is was so far on i could drink a cold drink and feel bubs wriggling away.

Hope your knees feel better.
