my DH went drinking with his mates on the saturday night and i gave him $10 to get a taxi home so afther waking every 2 hours woundering when he was comming home he rang me 10:30 the next day and happy mothers day sorry i didnt come home so i made me and my two girls breakfast then he rings back at 12:30 saying that their ride home hadent showed could i pick him up he gave me the address witch i forgot once i got in the car so i new the street so went there i was sure it was 27A so i drove up and down the street stoped at 27A but couldnt see a house thought DH would wait out side you know just to make it easer to find him so anyways afther driving up and down the street 4 to 5 times i gave up and said some bad words which miss 6 was quick to point out. when i got home again he called again and said "were are you" and i said some lovley word as a reply and then he said his ride had showen anyways, so i put miss 1 into bed and just totalty broke down on mine (for the next 3 hours) couldnt take it any more plus pg hormones adding to the mix, and when he got home he wanted to know why i was up set. oh by the way he spent his taxi money on beer

It sounds juvenile but fathers day is in september!!! My DH never put any effort into mothers day until I retaliated and ignored fathers day. He then realized how it felt to not be recognized on your day and for the most part changed his ways!!
