Topic: Green Acre Designs pockets? Posted: 09 June 2007 at 10:54pm |
Geez, I'm all about the nappies tonight! Sorry for the posting blitz everyone.
Just wondering if anyone has tried these nappies? Have been eyeing them up on the Mother's Instinct website, they look pretty good, but was hoping for some feedback from users?
Thanks!

They are a pretty new product at Mother's Instinct so I'm not sure there are a whole lot of people out there who have reviewed them.
Worth a look on TNN - if you aren't on there, I'll look and see what I can find.
Edited to add - Just looked on Diaper Pin and found reviews of Green Acre pockets

Yeah, sorry the site is down.
You can get into the forum on http://tnn-nz.org/phpBB2/ at the moment but the normal URL should be up in the next few days.

ohhhh, it came today and it is great... the PUL is really soft and it looks well made, very similar to a swaddlebee but a bit bigger. it looked small at first but fits toby very well with lots of room for growth too. I'm not too sure how to work the insert but it seems good. And she has the GADimals in too so now i want one of them... i'll let you know how it performs tho too.

Heh heh!
Good on you!
We will all have to compare notes. If I like the one I've bought I think I'll order more. Haven't tried a side-snapping nappy before.
PS: Emma, you will just have to put it on the 'to buy' list after this month. Sorry for the temptation!

Bummer!
Well, for when you do look at getting them, I used our one today and thought it was lovely. Am even contemplating selling off some of our fuzzis to fund getting some more, but want to wait for a couple of weeks to really test it.
I'm a big fan of the side snaps, and the nappy just seems to fit DD so well, one of the first I've seen that looks like it sits well on her. No leaks after 3 hours with just the GAD insert, so I'm impressed so far!
An expensive nappy, but if it continues to be good I will definitely buy more!
