Do teeth always come in twos? We got tooth one 1.5 weeks ago but there is no sign of number 2 other than one grumpy wee girl...

So they could just come one at a time? Just wondering whether to attribute the grizzles to teething or not..

A couple of Erin's have come by themselves, but the rest came in pairs - I don't know whether it is common or not though! But, I would personally think that the grizzles could be teething, as IMO it is a continuous process until everything is over. She cut #8 about a week ago, and I think #9 is moving up and down a fair bit, as I swore I could see it a couple days back but checked today and was barely a bump

sometimes they are not immed obvious as like erinsmama said they can come up and down...also i think the gum gets sore before there can be any sign of the tooth. i remember with toby - who was real cranky when he teethed - looking in his mouth and seeing two teeth come up and then later when i had a feel around i discovered that two were coming up on the other side too so there were 4 at once. but two werent as obvious.

Alize still only has one, he's really grizzly too and Im sure its the other one  moving up and down in there but not ready just yet. One minute it looks set to burst thru the gum the next its gone
