ok ladies just writing for another pity party. lol nooo writing to find out if anything has gone around or if anyone's had it. I woke this morning feeling like absoluate utter bollocks. all over aches and pains, hot and cold flushes.. all the flu stuff.. but, no runny nose of eyes, no head cold symptoms whatsoever.   just aches... ots of em. neck is a bit sore, but otherwise am ok, no appetite either and a little nauseous.

On that note, i do know that i have not taken care of myself as well as i could lately staying up late to get portfolio done (on the home stretch).. but ow, it just feels like my body has rejected me today.   I also have a tooth that has been troubling me for a while.. i ate something yesterday and when i crunched down i felt a sharp pain go up my jaw from it, then nothing, just a dull ache from there. So i guess my question is.. can a tooth do this to you? would it make me feel so icky? i thought of absyss but thought usually they have a certain icky taste that comes with them.

anyway.. any help or tips would be great. has anyone had this "bug" or had a tooth do this to em. i seriously am just thinking of getting it ripped out.

No, don't think its the tooth...I'm down to eating on one side of my mouth now....but can't face the dentist. I'd rather go through childbirth than visit the dentist. If anything I will get a headache which is all over my head..sure its because of the tooth. Also for a while it I felt quite 'down' and am sure it has something to do with my tooth.

Go to the dentist...me, I'm still not ready

Could be both at once? Or because your immune system is shot from flu, the infection has a chance to take hold??

That's all from Dr. Nikki today.

Except - Tobin is sick too. Aches and pains and stuff. Poor man. (Except I'm the one getting the massage right now! *muhahahaha* )

lol Dr Nikki.

Linda i think i know, lol.
However i had a similar thing prior to finding out i was pregnant with ayja, and made them test me for everything once i found out i was having her.. including stuff like cytomegalovirus and all sorts of other nasties... they came back clear and boy it pissed me off (not cos they were clear, but because i got that label of "viral")

Janine Krystiana's just getting over a tummy bug. It's viral. From Thursday she's had the lot. Flushed face, temp over 38 (armpit!!), vomitting, really tired, grizzly (our little girl who hardly ever grizzles), and today she came out in viral spots (tummy). It's quite likely something's doing the rounds in Palmy.

I bet you want me to say I had all those things in the week before I found I was pg with someone though

It could be the tooth Janine, it is is an infection in the gum. My mum had it a while back, flu-like symptoms without the mucous.
I hope you feel better soon whatever it is!

hey there, am more clear headed today but definately think it must be the tooth/teeth, also feel like wisdom teeth are on the move again especially the one on top of the "sore" tooth, i can feel the tooth waiting to break thru the gum, i bet the other tooth is in the way of it., wondering if they might be impacted or something. today just sore at back of neck and shoulder muscles, can move neck but feels a little like it does when you pull the muscles in your neck and top jaw feeling a bit numbish.

stupid teeth, stupid stupid teeth!

i think i will go and see a dentist... sometime.

Hmm that does sound like a teeth thing. Get it sorted out Janine, you'll feel much better afterwards and the earlier you go, the less they'll need to do - right?

lol... ok, i know i do need to go get teeth sorted...

BUT

Have just had an "AH-HUH!!!" moment

the night before the first day i felt like this.. i was at the computer for approx 6 hours, consistently, without a break, doing my assignment stuff. in a chair that is not terribly supportive or back, or neck at all, occasionally straining turning to see what is on the tv behind me.

felt a bit better yesterday once i went to meet with nurse educator.. but again yesterday evening got worse..
tonight is feeling sore again...and what am i doing.. sitting at computer doing assignment stuff, looking down at computer as i type cos i used to touch-type but am just too darn lazy and not that good any more.

so yes.. teeth might play a small part.. but my "AH-HUH!" moment has just led me to beleive.. that i have strained/put out, my neck.

rememdy to that.. hurry up and finish the stupid portfolio!
