I have a jar of crushed garlic and I need ideas of how to eat it! Trouble is, I can't handle the smell of garlic cooking for too long (gives me migraine) so something I can fry etc is probably best. I'm about to try it spread on toast but I was thinking it could probably go well with fried bacon somehow?

You could add into Lasagne (SP??), yip or fry a little with bacon, as bacon is quick.  You can also add into meals that you are cooking in the oven.  A little not too much when cooking.  Good Luck

OMG Teresa, we use garlic like it is going out of fashion. Honestly, you can throw garlic in everything. I would suggest maybe throwing it in the microwave before adding it as even crushed the flavour will be too strong I think. if you had cloves we roast them and they are just divine. in soups are always good. anything with tomatoes. mixed with butter and under the skin of chicken, mix it with some brown sugar, lemon juice and soy as a marinade......

We mix crushed garlic with butter (margarine works too but it's not as good) and spread it on a french stick and toast it for homemade garlic bread.

We put garlic in EVERYTHING. We go through those jars like they are going of fashion. Garlic and mushrooms on toast is nice and I think your bacon would go nicely in there too.

I use garlic for most meals... yum.

Try doing a different variation of the garlic butter french stick.

Cut french stick in fours and slice in half. Whip up a garlic butter to taste, spread on all sides of garlic bread (obviously not the crust :P). Add sliced pepperoni and thin slices of cheese. Put the bottoms and tops back together, wrap in tin foil... bake for 15 mins :)

Viola... tasty!

I gave up LOL. I fully intended to do the french stick thing but keep forgetting to get a french stick lol. The garlic won't go off, it's a new jar, but someone told me it might help regulate my bm flavour for Kryssi. Well I tried it on toast, wasn't so great, and didn't seem to do anything! hence giving up

I use alotr of crushed garlic, love sprading it over root vegetables before baking, stir fry is another fave. You could make a garlic butter and have that on a nice juicy steak, not overly healthy but yummy

We use crushed garlic in the jar as we would crushing it with a press. I put a teaspoon it more or less everything I cook.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
