Topic: Isnt it ironic..... Posted: 06 August 2007 at 11:32am |
...that pg symptoms are the $#%# same as AF symptoms??!
I've had sore boobs that seem to have doubled in size since about Friday and my AF is due this Thurs/Fri. It's normal for this to happen before my period but I also do recall it happening before pg as well. I've also been feeling incrediable tired and quite nausous (sp?) the last few days BUT then the flu has been going around the office so it could be a wee dose of that.... aaargh why is that waiting so hard?! DP keeps saying 'oh you're probably pregnant'. But he says that most months- even when we weren't ttc.
I don't want to test too early seeing that pg test cost 4 million dollars each and knowing me, it won't show up on one till I"m 8-9 weeks gone anyway... hnmmm is this PMS? LOL
Sorry ladies, just wanted to get it off my (huge, ever expanding) chest!

I know how you feel Emmecat. I'm not due for AF until about wed next week, but I have sore boobs, feeling slightly ill, my face has broken out. All things I get with AF but not usually until about 2-3 days before AF is due not this early. The days are getting slower and slower, all I want to do is test.

It's too early to test isn't it?? And DP is away from Wednesday to Saturday so not sure I want totest while he's away.......
aaargh it's probably AF coming. I don't 'feel' pregnant- surely that I'd know if I was?

((((hugs))) back BellaBabysMum. think I shall wait until Friday at least.... last month I was a week late but think that was stress related!
Really funny though- just rang DP to say I have been promoted at work (with a pay rise too-yay) and I said 'I have good news' and he said 'are you pregnant?'. ...Aawwww bless I thought I was the more clucky of the two of us!!

Yay for your job! It's so hard to put off testing... and then when you test early and it comes up BFN we put our hopes on hold just in case it's too early. I'm not very patient either - remember my 'dilemma' thread?

Thanks Busymum! The whole job thing was a nice surprise actually.I've only been here a month or so! It's a very family-friendly environment actually, which is just great.
BTW- I do remember your dilemma..... I just don't think this is our month though as my boobs are sore but not anywhere near as sore as I remember from my first pg. Haven't had any PMS-y type mood swings or anything though, which no doubt DP is enjoying! Also no cramping type feelings, which normally come on sooni before AF, although I guess it would be too ealy for that today.
aaargh I just want to know. I need a slap LOL

Hehe, I'm another like you have two possible OV dates, first possible I'd be 14dpo today, second only 12 dpo, AF supposedly due on Thursday and my temps are still up (I'm a charter)... no real PG symptoms as such, skin is a spotty and boobs a tiny bit sore but nothing really out of the ordinary so caved this morning as couldn't hold out any longer... but got a BFN - never mind though, I have a couple more HPT stashed away for the end of the week!!
Congrats on the promotion and payrise too, that should help distract you a little

Aaaw thanks guys It's taking on more responsibility in a diferent area entirely- which is ironic cos I've just taken a step back from my career to 'downsize' (work part time and study at uni part time). I'll still be working part time but it'll be nice to get a few more $$ in the pocket- plus the work looks interesting!
Maybe will keep my mind off tcc slightly too. Hmmmmm or maybe not...

Congrats about the job!
I also get the same sore boobs and horrible nausia (sp?) before during and after AF it's so screwed up! I'm sure we are made that way just to confuse us!
I'm only on my first cycle but I'm the worst person at waiting and I'm sure I'll be testing at the first sign of anything! I wonder if they sell bulk packs of pg tests, I should probably stock up
Goodluck for your Friday test
