Hi EllasMum2B! Birthcare will provide pads and nappies, but you'll need to take your own baby wipes (and do take them -- meconium poop can really stick to bare bottoms!), clothing, hats, socks, etc, as well as your own clothing and dressing gown, and toiletries for yourself and the baby. It's a good idea to take a few different sizes of baby clothing (0000 and 000), since you won't know how big your baby will be until it's born! And be sure to take layers for them to wear, as the weather and indoor climate can be quite unpredictable. Another thing you'll need are baby blankets for the car ride from hospital to Birthcare, and then from Birthcare to home. Birthcare will have baby blankets for you to use when you are staying there, though. Another good idea is to take your own pillow for breastfeeding or just plain sleeping, as Birthcare pillows can be a bit hospital-like! Take an extra pillowslip or two, just in case Baby spits up...

Good luck! And don't forget to learn how to install the capsule in the car well before your due date!

Thank you, I have just gone and packed more clothes for bubs - better to be safe than sorry

I am planning on wearing PJ's while I am at hospital

It is easy to pack for yourself but it is knowing how much to pack for bubs escpecially if she needs to be changed alot

So I have packed a suitcase for our stuff - hehe they will probably look at me strange but I dont care
