For anyone who is thinking about adding a furbaby to their family this Friday you can adopt a cat from the Auckland SPCA for free.

Check it out. There are some lovely cats looking for a home.

Awww! If I didnt already have 2 cats (and 2 dogs!) id be there. Just tried to convince my sister to adopt the 2 orientals, they are lovely looking cats

Bugger that Aucks is a few hours drive away or I would.
My little kitty cat needs a mate to help stand up for him. The other cats around here keep bashing my little man.

UPDATED: 12.30 Friday 28 May 2010 Our FREE - FELINE - FRIDAY was such an AWESOME success that we currently have NO cats or kittens for adoption! Our cupboard is bare!

ETA: Though that was Friday and I'm sure they will have more by now.
