Topic: Fuzzi Bunz VS Honey Child Posted: 26 July 2009 at 9:01pm |
We got a Fuzzi Bunz pocket in our nappy kit that I really like so we're looking to buy some of our own. Are they the same as Honey Child? If not what are the differences? And are there any other brands that are similar but cheaper!?

You should try an itti bitti, they are awesome and the only nappy I use on my boys now.
Here's a link to them link
I have put the link to the trial pack as they are doing that for $55 at the moment which is excellent value.

honey child used to sell fuzzi bunz then decided to make their own. they were the same as fuzzis but fuzzi has changed the shape around the snaps, so not sure wether you have the old or new fuzzi bunz. some good cheaper pockets are baby harmony, also kiwi made. the honey child inserts are much better than the fuzzi ones tho!

I use honeychilds - I was given a new style fuzzi and much prefer the honeychild to be honest.. the microfleece is softer and thicker and the honeychild fit better.. and they are NZmade!

Baby harmony pockets are good, and a good price too. They are pretty much the same kinda thing as fuzzis and honeychild but cheaper but still good quality

We actually bought a whole lot of Itti Bitti's (well, the MIL did...) after your recommendation Marisa! Though we thought we were being smart when we bought Mediums... Now Natalie's grown out of most of the nappy kit nappies and is too little for the Mediums! We haven't even got to try them out yet

And thanks for the Baby Harmony recommendation. They're MUCH cheaper! Though we're hoping to pick some up cheap on TradeMe but they seem to have a pretty high resale value - I wonder if it'd just be better to buy them new and then sell them on ourselves...

I have fuzzie new and old, itti bitti's and honey child. I'd have to say that I do prefer the pockets rather than the itti, but they are just so gorgy. DS just wees straight through them. The new fuzzi are my overnight nappies with a pea pod bamboo insert folded into 2 not 3, and 2 fuzzi inserts. The old stlye fuzzi's I find good for 4 hours I do Love honey child except the 3 snaps drive me nuts.
