I came off the Pill just after Easter and got my AF staight away. Since there I haven't had another AF (have taken several different pregnancy tests and all BFN) and it has now been 42 days (normal cycle around between 28-30 days). I have been reading that taking Vitex can help regulate your cycles and make AF come. Is this correct? Should I be talking to my doc about it first? or is it safe to just start taking it? I just want my AF to come so we can start TTC....

Might pay to go talk to your local health store, everyone is different and it's worth making sure you get what you need. I take Femzone which has vitex in it and have found it really good, but everyone is different so what works for me maynot be so good for you. good luck.

Hi Mum2Ella,  I think it should be safe to take Vitex because it is natural (not a drug) and if you start noticing any side effects (some people get tired or have headaches) then you can decide if you want to stop it.  Apparently it takes 2 to 3 months to take effect.  I would also consider taking vitamin B6 (50mg) which helps to regulate your hormones too
