Can anyone recommend an Allergy Paed in Auckland.

Samara has an allergy to formula and my GP was no help at all - recommended to put her on Infasoy.

Sorry can't help, but I'd be interested to know this too. Our doctor doesn't want to do testing for Sam's allergies until she is at least 18 months and his advice was to just keep her away from any food that she might have allergies too! What the!!

Heres some- personally I wouldn't recommend Vincent Crump though. Wasn't very thorough and didn't explain things very well- which I would expect when paying over $3oo

There are a few akl allergy mums on here so hopefully they can help

I've heard good things about Jan Sinclair.

The Paeds we have seen here and in Whakatane have both referred to the research/practice of Jan Sinclair as the basis for their management of Islas allergys. It is her protocols that are used in starship, which they will be following when Isla has her food trials.

We are still under Allen Liang and he is just fantastic! :) He has helped solve alot of mysteries for our wee man.

Prof Rohan Ameratunga is an excellent immunologist and specialises in paediatric allergies
