to capture images from a DVD and save them as still pictures? I have tried uploading the DVD to MOvieMaker but it won't recgnise the file type.

I have Media PLayer and DVD PLay but can't figure out how to save an image once I have frozen it?

Cory did that for me and i asked him he cant remember which programme it was but he said he thinks it came with windows, i do remember him watching it pausing at the specified points and copying the still as a picture. Thats about as much help as i am lol

Windows Movie Maker should do the trick, sorry it took me so long to get back to you Emma ! What version of Windows do you have ?

I have XP but it won't let me upload the DVD to movie maker coz it says it doesn't recognise the file type?

Do you know what file type the DVD is? And what steps do you use when you try to upload it to Movie Maker?
