Ive just found this on another site I go to...

Its not all of there food just some, But it pays for you to read the article!

(They found bts of plastic in the food!)


... Heres whats been affected:

The affected products are the 220g can Junior Mates Vegetables, Beans and Beef 1-3 years; 170g Junior Mates Pear, Rice and Mango Pudding 1-3 years and 170g 3rd Foods Risotto, Vegetable and Beef from 10 months.

Customers can return the products, which all have `best before' dates of up to and including January 3, 2008, for refunds.

No other Golden Circle products have been affected.

Consumers can telephone Golden Circle's baby info line on freecall 1800 730 101 (Australia), 0800 622 229 (New Zealand).

bit scarey huh! I mean, they say "full refund given" but too bad if you've already fed it to your little ones!!!

Gosh! Thanks for letting us know about this, Trish. I'm really glad now my fussy boy doesn't like Golden Circle baby food! Of course, his favourite meal is whatever Mummy's eating...
