One of the inlaws cats had to be put down last week (Andrew hasn't been there since it happened) as she had cancer.

Now what do we tell Andrew when he asks where is bob?

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

The truth?? I would anyway. In a light way of course.

Although then that could be the reason behind why Hannah is a little obsessed with death at present

When we put max down just before christmas we told kobe that max got really sick and had gone to doggie heaven and was playing with Saatchi (his wee friends dog who died a few months ago). its taken him a while though, he wasnt sad as such just kept asking pretty much every day when we could go and pick max up from playing. then he thought heaven was another dog and the 3 of them were playing together until i explained it was a place, just like our house, we live in bishopdale well max now lives in heaven. he hasnt asked about picking him up for about a week now but when we talk about the people in our family he still talks about max like he is still here.
