Is there anybody else out there struggling to get pregnant after an ectopic? My fiance and I have been trying for over a year and its still not happening for us
How was your ectopic pregnancy treated - chemically or did you have a tube removed? Have you had any diagnostic tests since your ectopic pregnancy?
I had an ectopic pregnancy treated with methotraxate, then seemed to have problems ovulating after that so was put on clomid. I also had a laparoscopy and a dye test that showed that the tube that I had the ectopic pregnancy in was completely blocked and the dye didn't even pass through it. In hindsight I don't know why they didn't just remove that tube because a year later I had a second ectopic pregnacy in the same tube.
All the best. I know it is heartbreaking to think you are pregnant and then to find out it's not where it should be.
Thanks for that.
Mine actually ruptured so i lost the whole right side. I havnt had any tests done, doctor is hopefully going to put me on waiting list for fert treatment.
Everybody says "oh dont worry it will happen when it happens" but i think my chances have severly decreased.
