I live in Waimauku, 8 minutue out of Kumeu, rural West Auckland. I do like it but must admit to not being able to wait to move back to our house in Whangaparaoa. Give me the beachy feel of the East Coast any day.

I also used to live in Waimauku. Up on Waikoukou valley Rd.

I liked being close to muriwai beach

I love west Auckland, even Massey has some really nice areas, left as you come off the royal rd off ramp tends to be good, we used to live to the right and had the armed defenders call out down our street twice in a year.

There aren't too many places in West Auck that I wouldn't want to live. Lived in Glendene for years and Sunnyvale as well (by the cemetery). If we could afford it, I would move out Taupaki/Kumeu way.
A friend of mine is looking to buy out Laingholm way and there seem to be a lot of decent looking houses for non ridiculous prices

haha was that back in the days when they used to come break up parties all the time?

I live in Henderson/Western Heights and really like it around here. Two nice schools just up the road too. One of which I'd love to get a job at one day

There's a section next door for sale if you feel like building
