I heard it had closed down permanently by MIL who (occasionally once a week) works right next door but then I heard it was back up and running so not sure sorry!
We went to a great one just outside Martinborough a couple of weekends ago. It's a bit further to go but well worth the visit and entry is by donation only (plus you can go to the martinborough farmers market while you're out there and stop by the shops to buy some local wine to make the trip worthwhile).
We enjoyed it - not sure what it was like before. They had lambs, pigs, evil emus, ponies, llamas (or possible alpacas) and sheep. Also rabbits, birds, hens etc. Probably some others i've forgotten. DD loved feeding the animals. I would recommend it.
it was a bit misty and drizzly when we went so it was nice and quiet - also good to do on a Saturday cos we got loads of cheap veggies off the farmer's market there.
