DH has diahorrea and vomiting. I'm not sure whether to take him to the doctor or if its to early. So far today he has not been able to keep any liquid down. what symptoms should I be looking for to know when to get help?

He should be having A SIP of water every 10mins. If he manages to keep this down then you'll be fine. If not, then take him to the Dr, might need a drip.

There's a horrible stomach flu virus going around that apparently you can even pick up from supermarket trolleys - a friend of mine's entire family has had it and I look after her baby once a week!

Healthline is good to phone if you're not sure whether or not/when to take to Dr: 0800-611-116

I ended up taking dh to the doctor, would have been cheaper to put him down. the nausea injection they gave him seemed to work and he has been able to keep fluids down now which is a miracle. immodium also stopped the diarrhea. I had to laugh at the nausea stuff they gave him..it was maxilon. he is much perkier today
