Does anyone have a reccomendation for a good (but cheap - ie $100 or under, I don't mind secondhand) pram that would be good for travelling overseas? I want an umbrella type (or really easy to fold and carry around, and light too) that is able to recline, as Ella occasionly still naps in the pram and I want to have that option. At the moment we only have an umbrella pram that sits up, and a big pedigree sport which is way to heavy to take overseas.

Oh yeah, Ella weighs 14kg now so it will need to take her weight.

Thanks

I have a black 'childcare' (I think, will get back to you on that one!) umbrella one. Got it from the baby factory for less than $100. We took it with us around the south island! Good for toddlers, lies back and is big enough to be sturdy without being too big!

I've got a Childcare Lunar twin, but the single ones are exactly the same only single And it's great, light and portable and umbrella folds.

I got the same one as Anna & we took it up to Auckland and over to Aust & we found it great as it worked for either the girls, sitting or lying & there is a good size basket underneath for putting stuff into. Also easy to put up and take down while holding onto a childs hand!!

Farmers had some really good ones for $69.95 recently.  Not sure what area you live in, but if you would like me to look into it let me know.

Well we bought one today lol.. A Steelcraft Express -This one but in blue.

It was $139.95 but it's worth it as the big pram we currently have doesn't allow Ella to sit up properly, and the umbrella pram means that she couldn't lie back. Plus might be useful for #2

Oh yeah, our reason for getting this one was that Ella couldn't lie back properly in the other one.. she is too tall now! The Steelcraft has a bit more room.

we have a fold up one from the warehouse only problem with them is they dont lie back so when haleigh fell asleep in hers (not that she cares she'll sleep anyway lol) her head was dangled to the side and with not much support she had her cheek up against the side of it it looked cute though but cnat be good on the neck.
it cost us $40

We brought one of the cheap prams off trade me off seller jtt1 as a second pram to have on the farm so that this lazy mum does not have to wash the tyres every time I go to town and in all honesty I would have just got two of the ones I bought as they appear brilliant and cheap too! We got ours for $70! BRAND NEW!
