Topic: Double stroller Posted: 12 April 2011 at 1:59pm |
Hi, hoping that somewhere there is is 'perfect' pram! Would love to hear about how you find your double prams.
I am currently using a valco runabout which is great, but when #2 comes along in Nov, it won't be suitable as the suncover won't work with the toddler seat on. I like the valco as it is super robust, and i do a lot of walking off road and in the bush with it.
What I need in a pram is:
- 3 wheeler -
- front/back config suitable for a nb and 1 toddler - side by side is too wide for what I want to do with it
- robust so can be taken off road
- Able to fit the sun/rain covers so that both the nb and toddler are protected
Is the perfect pram out there? Help!!!

Phil n teds
We have the sport model and it's been all over my parents lifestyle block and down to the beach. We use it as Alex's bed when we go to the beach for the day. And you can get single and double sun/rain covers

Thanks, have been wondering about the P&T sport as a friend recommended it, but they no long make them :-( Are any of the other P&T strollers ok for a bit of off-roading? Was wondering is the explorer or the classic would be ok, as they can both be doubled up

I think the P&T Sport and the Classic are virtually the same from looking at the pics on their website. I'm sure the good people at Kiwibaby could advise you, they also seem to have the best prices. We love our Sport!

When I was in buying my P&T Vibe the lady in the shop said that the Sport & Explorer are basically much the same - it started out as Explorer, was replaced by Sport, and now has been re-replaced by Explorer again. Hope that helps, happy shopping!

We have just bought a 2nd hand P&T's E3, does anyone have one?
I was wondering whether to buy the sport double kit (which has the zip recline) or the E3 one that doesn't but comes with free cocoon. What do you think?

I was in the Nurtured shop in Hamilton the other week, the lady couldn't recomend the P&T Explorer enough - she said they never go back with issues. THe Vibe & Classic on the other hand she's had quite a few issues with...
Just my 2 cents worth :)
