What have you got and what do you think of it? Anyone have the Phil and Teds Highpod? I love the HiLo that is in the latest OB magazine but can't find any NZ stockists so it is out of the question.

We have one of these... linky

I've tried about 8 different kinds of highchairs, whether my own or families and this one is by far the best

It clips onto a dining room chair so then alex is eating with us. We don't have to find space for it. He sits upright, doesn't slump or fall to the side like lots of the big highchairs. Its really easy to clean and the tray is at the right height, alot of the ones I've tried the tray is too high so you have to put a towel under them to boost them up. I also like that later you just take the tray away and it becomes a booster so he can eat at the table with us normally.

Fancy highchairs are the worst in my experience. They are awful to clean, usually big and bulky so take up lots of space and the chair itself is just too big so they slump badly or fall to the side. In my mums fancy one we have to put a towel on each side of alex or he falls to the side.

I think baby factory has it as well and maybe winkalotts. It's 1/3 of the price of the P&t's. But you don't need the recline option now. Liv needs to be sitting up properly now. She will eat more that way and less likely to gag and choke on food

My Mum has that one at her house and I have a similar one (highchair/booster) that I keep in the car for meals when staying with friends or family.
I got mine secondhand on trade me for about $50-$60.

At home I use the Mocka wooden one but Stacey is right, we have towels behind him. Guess I could buy the harness but haven't bothered...

I have a Mocka designer high chair for my youngest and a Mocka soho for my 3 year old and I can't say enough about them. The designer has been through 2 children and still looks like new. They sit straight up in it which is great and you can get an insert with a washable cover (it almost seems to be stain-resistant as I have the white one and it still looks great!)for when they are a bit smaller so no flopping to one side. The other great thing is that the tray is at a good height for them to feed themselves. It is super-easy to clean with no grooves.. also possible to take it outside and hose it down if things get really messy. Also the legs detach easily so we take it on holiday with us too. And it is so cheap and delivered to your door. What more can I say!
