Hi,
I have a P&T Explorer 2010 model on order. With all its new features it looked like an awesome stroller, but a friend of mine has just gotten one and has had problems with the wheels. I am now thinking of changing to the Dash. If there is anyone out there with either the Explorer 2010 or the Dash who can give me their reviews it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I've got the Dash and really like it. I had problems with the wheel going a bit crazy too, but turns out I just needed a little washer thingy and it was all good (could be the same for your friend, made all the difference for me).

I'm not sure what all the new features are but the sunshade going both ways looks pretty cool and the fast fold - though I find the Dash pretty simple to fold anyway. What else is new?

I have the dash, havent used it yet though.

I have heard phil and ted generally have problems with their new models when they come out, but are very good at support and getting the issues fixed quickly.

My friend's problem was with the wheel rim buckling and I read another review that mentioned the wheels were made of a cheap plastic. But to be fair my friend has had no issues with P&T replacing the wheels and just generally dealing with the problem.

If amme_eilyk is right P&T may be addressing this issue already as we were originally advised that a new shipment was due in November but that has been put out to late December.

The new features are one hand fast fold, easier brake system, a 'follow-the-sun' sunhood and can also take a car baby capsule and toddler seat at the same time.

I love the new explorer. We will be getting it but not till early next year to replace our sport (which we love). I personally think the Explorer is better than the Dash. It has everything the dash does (plus more) except for the different break systems.
The only thing I dont like about the explorer is that the toddler seat attachment doesnt recline.

We were looking at either the Vibe or Explorer and have decided on the Explorer due to such poor and continual poor reviews for the Vibe.

I got the Explorer and also had problmes with the wheels. According to the shop I got it from there was a containerload of Explorers who all had the same problem! The wheels got replaced and it is now working fine!

I love how it folds so easy and also how the break works which I found much easier to use than on the Dash

Ok ladies I've got a few questions.....

Does the Dash second seat come with a sun cover? It looks like the explorer does is that right?

I think you can buy the hoods separately for the dash DK.

And I've also learnt, for those interested, you can put the Hammerhead DK on to the Explorer and it reclines, and it also has the hood too
