We need one!  Ella is sporting a bump on her head after an Ella vs. concrete below steps incident this morning .   I've had a look on TM but there isn't a lot selling and I don't know what's a reasonable price for these.  What should I expect to pay for one, and what should I be looking out for?  Any info greatly appreciated.  I'm after one to go across our back door, something I can maybe step over (not essential though), and easily put up and taken down, as I imagine it'll need to come down for the door to be shut each time.

TIA!

Andie

Last summer I just used a clothes rack folded up across the doorway! Seemed to do the trick, but Han wasn't overly adventurous...

I just bought a dream baby gate from mitre 10, and its great. It's metal, which is good, and robust. We previously had a plastic one which was wrecked in no time, so I'd reccomend the metal.

oooh good idea, I might do that across the sliding door, as Charly wants to venture outside all the time, but I'm not so keen yet...
