I don't know what the difference is between a crock pot and a slow cooker thought they were the same. We had a small sunbeam one last year it was good cooked enough for like four people really lol But it broke and Bruce just bought me a Zip one from Briscoes for mothers day. Its only the small one but I can cook enough for two nights worth of dinners in it and it cooks great. I got given a couple of slow cooker recipe books as well and use it all the time!!!

MIL still has a oval sunbeam one though and swears by it, They have the LARGE one and she regularly cooks for just the two of them in it but its big enough to do silverside in so best of both worlds I guess lol

Oh by memory I think she bought her sunbeam one for like $89 on sale at briscoes which was cheap. My little Zip one was around $50 (I thinK)
