Im on the hunt for a good solid cot that you can operate with one hand to drop the side. Preferably not to expensive. What brands do you recommend? Thanks

We bought a Cot Store cot and I love it! It's sturdy, was reasonably priced and you can drop the side with one hand. And (most importantly) it's pretty! Their customer service was excellent as well.

Their website is www.thecotstore.co.nz

Has anyone got a Grotime? I am looking at $350-450 cots, would like something solid. I have seen some horrible flimsy ones!

We have a ridiculous expensive grotime, which has an extra wide mattress and is impossible to find bedding for. It also can be quite difficult to get the side up and down sometimes and generally needs two hands to be put down, but may just need adjusted.

Genesis cots at Baby Factory look pretty solid and sturdy!

I was actually quite impressed with one of the cots at the warehouse. It seemed very solid compared with some of the others that I had seen around at farmers etc. It was 379 i think
