I would like to find a black and white mobile to hang over her hammock- preferably a nice wooden one?

Havent found much through google search.

Not too sure but how crafty are you? In the latest treasures mag their is a craft section and they have a pattern/cut out of a butterfly and you hang them from string and tie it to a round ring, you could hang them at different heights or something

Otherwise you could just get a normal coloured one and re pain it black and white? Baby city have wooden ones!

Lol aren't we all! I am doing a name canvas thingy for Lily, well I started it a couple of months ago and so far I have painted the letters I made with 1 coat and um that's it! It sits there waiting for me to finish it!

I made one similar to the treasures one but did stars instead of butterflies. It didn't take long I used a embroidery ring and clamped the ribbons with that.

Endemic World has 2 very cool baby mobiles. They are both just in wood, but i'm sure you could easily paint them black and white. They are a little pricey, but are NZ made and very cool: Fish Mobile and Bird mobile

I did find this website: Mobiles for kids which has a lot of links to pages with templates etc for making simple mobiles. Looks fairly good :)

I'm pretty sure you can buy unpainted wooden shapes at spotlight, teddy bears shapes etc you could buy them and paint them black and white
