hi all, just a quick one about babies heads in hammocks, i presume there is a much less chance of getting a flat head as the head is not resting against a solid flat mattress.
am i on the right thought track? has anyone noticed a difference using a hammock vs cot for this particular matter? thanks

I never really thought of that, but both of my kid's heads are well rounded...

My DD slept in a cot and DS in a hammock ~ both had nice rounded heads. Both my children moved their own heads around when they slept so I think that helped. I think as long as baby isn't put down on the same part of his/her head all the time then flat heads shouldn't occur.

I've heard that hammocks do help with this issue.
