Topic: Ferrit.co.nz Posted: 01 July 2008 at 2:22pm |
Uh oh, I just discovered Ferrit.co.nz. I mean I always knew it existed but the creepy TV ads put me off.
But I wanted to get the girls a wee pressie each for when baby arrives and I am not up to traipsing round the mall so I had a look on Ferrit and I ended up finding all the things I wanted!
Reasonably priced and free delivery, it cost me $125 for 2 mini Upsy Daisy toys for the gremlins, 2 In the Night Garden DVD's, a Skip It for Maya and a CD for Mona.
I could be in real trouble here tho, it is waaaaay too easy!

Yeah the ads are pretty bad for it. But the site is good for good deals. I don't like trying to find something specific on it. It seems to take an awful long time to find what I want

I am staying away as it would be far too easy for me to shop from here now.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Oh dear. This could be dangerous. I love the presents that you got the girls though.
I might look at getting Cooper some ITNG DVD's.

They were only $19.99 each which I thought was quite reasonable.

I'm the opposite. I find the ads quite amusing but the website annoys the heck out of me. It's slow, ugly, and the search engine brings up rubbish results.
eta: I know that the search engine results is due to how the vendors list their products but still....

I agree, the cr@p website is enough to put me off ordering from there. Saying that, I have bought nappies and a few other things on special with free delivery though.

Package number two arrived! So now just waiting on the two ITNG DVD's.
I agree, the website is pretty basic, and the search function is random - I got some strange hits when I typed in Tombleboos - washing machines and home ventilation systems?
But I managed to find what I wanted without too much drama.
