That sounds like the same tooth that kept going up and down on poor Bailey unfortunately he didn't ever come through! he finally that that one at 10 months.... 8 months after it first looked like it was going to appear!

I thought Alex was going to cross cut his teeth as I could see teeth trying to come through everywhere but where the first two normally came through. But they never came through and he has just got his two bottom front teeth (at 10 months). I'm hoping that since all his other teeth are in the gums (but not showing) they wont cause him to much grief. Luckily Alex really loves the taste of bonjela. I think this all started around the six month age and then the first two appeared at 10 months (it was a long four months)
Teeth come in any order they please at anytime they please so it is load up with your products and maybe a cold flannel for Ella to chew on, Bonjela on the frozen dummy was also a great one!
