I am struggling to get my daughter to sleep through the night & have a feeling it's because she's wriggling around the cot, so I'm looking at something to try & keep her in one place. Not sure how that will go as she's almost 9 months old now & might hate it, but oh well, will give it a shot.
So my question is - what would you recommend? A snug sheet, safe-t- sleep or babe ok sheet?? Anyone tried any of these on an older baby?

We use a safety sleep.

Issy was about 5 months when we started using it as thats when she went into the cot full time.

Now its useful as it restricts her so she can actually fall asleep .. otherwise she tends to roll around and stand up etc etc.

Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months)

I did it .. 41 kgs gone! From flab to fab in under a year LFs weight blog

We use a Safe t Sleep and I think we started about 5 months. We still use it beciase it stops him standing in his cot when he should be sleeping. He can take it off himself but it works well to settle him and most nights he still has it on in the morning

We use a safetsleep and have done from about 4 months. We put cath in it for her day sleeps as she can now take it off (she's 16 months and has just started to get herself out of it).

At night we put her in a bigger go go bag and tuck the end of it in between the mattress and cot slats.   We tuck her blankets firmly at the side of the mattress and this keeps her confined enough to initially go to sleep. So she can wriggle but is confined IYKWIM

Hey KA - yes, things are good - just a bit hectic with 2 little ones to run around after!!!

With the safetsleep - can they sleep on their tummy or does it restrict that?? Bella seems to be a tummy sleeper, so don't know how she'd go if she was just stuck on her back.

we have Ty in safety sleep cause he is a little sh't in bed........yes you can put them on there tummy as that is how he sleeps...we never have it on tight and he knows how to take it off when he is finished sleeping but once it is on he knows its bed time and he wont sleep without it......ty can still turn around just not move 360s all night or bump his head.
