I picked up Michaela's bike yesterday afternoon.  It's a Christmas gift so she hasn't tried it out yet but I just wanted to let you all know how cool it looks.  The G2R is like the BMX of preschoolers bikes.  I got the pink one (surprise!) and it even has little lover hearts in the tire tread.  I'm absolutely stoked we decided to go with the G2R.  Even better, although at most stockists they're $200 at farmers they're $180 full price and until the 12/12/08 they're on sale for $143!!

They look great but wouldn't spend nearly $200 on a bike.

I'd love to get Zoe one. She got a trike for her b'day so I'll wait until later in the year.

I would!!! Jake and Taine both have trikes worth $200 each. and they are treated rough....veryrough and bothlook great - will be passed on to the cuzzies. A cheaper version would have been replaced a number of time by now.

That's what I figure too Lizzle.  Plus the glide 2 ride is made to suit different stages so should be built to last through those stages.  She won't need another bike for quite sometime.

The bike is a huge hit!  It's meant for 3 yrs+ so it wasn't a huge surprise that she's slightly too short for it but she only needs to grow a couple of cms and she'll fit perfectly and in the meantime she's loving being pushed around on it.  I'm so pleased that we bought it for her.

Oh yay, just reading what you wrote about the glide 2 ride is getting me excited, bought one of these yesterday at Farmers for only $49 (Fantastic deal) and storing it away for my boys 3rd birthday. They had at least 30 of these bikes piled up, must have been a stock clearance.

9 months later we still love her bike I was very tempted to buy one at that price and put it away for Andrew, $49 is such a bargain for such a great bike.

If its just part of the toy sale then it should go until the 12th October. I am seriously thinking of getting one of these to put away for Sam too!
