I am on the hunt for a new kindy bag for Keira.

I am really struggling to find anything I like, I am so sick of the bright barbie and bratz backpacks which seem to be everywhere.

Surely somewhere has to sell a nice simple, but still cute backpack for school/kindy???

There's someone on Trademe that sells all sorts of nice bags and they're personalised with an embroidered name

i still say go the asian import stores...they have some awesome ones...OR the surf shops have some gorgey kids ones pricey but mega cool!

we also had one from baby factory - it was a wheely one (like air hostess trolley bag) but in mini version - holds 3-4 chnges for daycare and she loved wheeling it in...but was plastic so only held up for a year (nearly!)

I gave up on kids bags and went to the surf shop. All our kids have billabong bags. Our kindy boy has a small billabong bag that I got for our eldest 8 years ago. They cost a bit more but have lasted forever. DD got a billabong one when she was 5 and is 10 now and off to intermediate next year and shes only getting a new one cause hers is prob a bit small. Well worth the expense in the beginning for us.
